It wasn't too long ago that the way a house looked from the street, " the curb appeal", was one of the most important assets a home could have when it was placed on the market for sale. In a way the same is true today except the street has been replaced by the internet and the curb is a buyers computer and the first picture they see of the house for sale. That first impression goes a long way towards the buyer stopping their online search and exploring the listing further. In fact, all the pictures of the house that is for sale must be "curb" worthy. What makes a picture "curb" worthy. Here are a few helpful guidelines;
1. Plenty of natural sunlight
2. Well- focused
3. Pleasingly composed- no parts of the room cut off, no clutter, balanced both side to side and top to bottom
4. Exterior Picture- Blue sky only!
and some things to watch out for;
1. No dark pictures
2. No cut off rooms- show the whole room (or very close to it) or not at all
3. Taking a picture of every room- some of them are not going to help sell the house
